This book is great. I'm a PA student and sometimes pharmacology can be... Well, not my strong suit. This really breaks things down into simpler elements and explains things in a memorable way. The pathophysiology book is a great companion, as are most of the other books in this series. Best of all, after the class is over, you'll be able to refer back to this book for a quick refresher because, let's be real, who remembers everything?!
Don't get this book expecting it to be like Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple. This book contains just tables of drug information, but hardly any memory tricks or light-hearted explanations. Since summary tables are found in many other books such as Katzung & Trevor's Pharmacology Exam & Board review along with paragraphs discussing each drug, I would say this book is not a worthy choice.
I don't think pharmacology can be made ridiculously easy, but this book tries its hardest by using many grids, tables, and analogies. I liked the format of most of it; however, some of it was still not very easy to grasp. I used it conjunction to pharmacology youtube videos and that was more helpful to see it and hear it and read it.
If you learn from charts, this book is definitely for you, otherwise it is pointless to buy. To improve this book, i would like to see colored photos that actually contribute to what the text is talking about, or an outline format, like the way Step Up to Medicine presents material. Overall, this book doesn't really make pharmacology easier to learn, they just everything in chart format.

Good idea- definitely very in depth and somewhat dry. It has great info, but the format is not necessarily what I expected.
This book is easy to understand. Very simple & clear explanations.
This product was alright. It made things very simple, way too simple. It did not't have nearly enough information on the individual drugs.
Unfortunately this book is not simple. It seems disjointed and confusing. The topics are not presented in a logic and systematic way.
