Despite a healthy lifestyle, Adele discovered that the weight gain of pregnancy had not disappeared. She sought a workable diet, and research led her to the ketogenic diet. It fit well with her lifestyle and became a way of life. The pounds melted and Adele's energy increased. The drawback was a sad lack of tasty ketogenic recipes. I haven't tried any recipes yet (just got book 2 days ago). The reason for the 3 stars is. One of the recipes says it's on page 24 when in fact it's on page 26 & none of the pics of the finished food are in color. You'd think you would want to show that. I'll update my review once I make some of the recipes. Here's my update. I've make a couple of thing in this book & I suggest making the recipes to your taste. I made the spice pecans & as good as they smelled in the oven. I didn't taste the spice. I'll definitely make them again (I like pecans) I'm just gonna add more of the spice. I also made the mango & papaya dessert & it the same as the pecans. Do the ingredients to your liking not just what the book says.
What makes this book different from others is that there are variety of baked and stuffed vegetables recipes, like Roasted Vegetable Hummus Plate Stuffed Tomatoes with Bread Crumbs and Cheese Stuffed Baked Potato I have tried and my family liked it, also soup recipes has a good variety.
This is an excellent diet book for the beginner's.Inside this book you will find many healthy and delicious recipes with an excellent diet plan which will help you to lose your weight and lead a healthy life.I hope this book is able to help you very much.
In my opinion, plant-based diet is the best way to lose weight and maintain your health. I continue to perform this diet for 2 weeks already and I feel much better. This cookbook book has every chance of becoming my favorite. The choice of dishes is chic, I'm not exaggerating, I also liked that there are such beautiful photos every dish.
I particularly liked the recipes that went with this book and the way it gradually introduced you to veganism. That said, there were limited recipe choices or information on substitutions for non vegan recipes.
