Needed something new for my 13 year old son to do this summer so bought this book and the kit. My son is still working through the experiments but so far so good. The book is clearly written, easy to understand, and follow along. The illustrations are really clear and super helpful. I have my son read and then do an experiment while I'm at work, then show me how it works when I get home and explain why. Once he's done with this book and kit, well get the author's next book which is more advanced. Definitely recommend.
